What To Do When You Can’t Pay Your Target Bill
The first Target store opened their doors in 1962 with the goal of offering trendy merchandise at prices the average consumer could afford. There are now currently 1,750 other Target department stores in 49 states. To help with purchases, Target offers their shoppers a credit card called the REDcard. It can only be used within the Target stores and can be applied for via a simple application process.

How To Pay The Bill
When it comes to paying your Target REDcard bill, you have a couple options.

Information on penalty fees, late payment fees and annual percentage rates are available from the Rates and Fees section of the REDcard services page. Target credit customers can call 1-888-755-5856 to reach customer service.
How The Penalty Fees Work
The Target credit card carries a 22.90% APR.
To avoid paying interest and receiving penalties you need to pay off your entire balance by the due date of each month.
If a payment is made late you will receive a late payment penalty fee up to $35.
If a payment you make is returned you’ll receive a penalty fee up to $25.
Also, when you make a request over the phone for a transfer or draw of funds from a deposit account to pay your Target REDcard balance, you may be charged a service fee.
There are no annual fees associated with the Target credit card.
Target seems to outsource their REDcard payment services. One consumer reported that after signing up for a Target credit card they didn’t receive any billing statements from them for months. In the meantime they were being charged a lot of fees they didn’t realize were accruing. When they finally were contacted they received poor customer service and a very large bill. Other such similar reports have been filed.
