How the Penalty Fees Work
Old Navy charges fees on balances and purchases, including, late payment fees, balance transfer fees and cash advance fees. The only fee that is assessed monthly is the $1.50 interest charge.
- Balance transfer – When you transfer your balance, Old Navy charges you the greater amount of $5 or 3% of the transferred amount.
- Cash advance – The fee to withdraw cash from your Old Navy account is 4% or $10, which ever amount is greater.
- Late payment – In the event your Old Navy bill payment is received past the due date, the company charges you a fee of $35.
When we spoke to the Old Navy customer service representative, they explained that the company did not offer any additional services to assist customers that can’t pay your bill, aside from payment arrangements. The customer service representative explained that even though the past due amount is eligible for payment arrangements; the customer could see late payment fees and finance charges accrue.
